Honda is introducing an all-new model in 2015 for those looking for a small crossover vehicle. The 2015 Honda HR-V Debuting Soon in Everett at Klein Honda is based on the wildly successful Fit and incorporates many systems used on that model. To begin with, the HR-V and Fit share the same platform but the HR-V is seven inches longer and has a taller ride height. It also uses the Fit’s interior that was designed to be flexible, with rear seatbacks that fold flat and seat cushions that can fold up from the floor.
Honda hasn’t released every detail of the 2015 Honda HR-V Debuting Soon in Everett just yet but what we do know is that it will be powered by the same 1.5L four-cylinder engine as the Fit. The engine produces 130 hp and has been fixed to the Honda CVT transmission that puts the power to the road via the front two wheels. Sources say that a sportier, turbocharged engine should follow the launch of the standard model. There is even talk of a hybrid model if sales are strong for the HR-V. Like the Fit, you should expect there to be three trim levels to choose from: LX, EX, EX-L. Each trim level offers different features and opens up the buyer to different optional packages as well.
