Subcompact crossover SUVs are becoming more and more popular around North America, thanks to their great mix of economy, utility, sportiness, and practicality. Honda has announced a number of upgrades for this year’s refresh, including new trims and upgrades to the systems.

The 2019 Honda HR-V Available in Everett gets Honda’s excellent Honda Sensing feature suite, which is a collection of active and passive safety systems that Honda has been dispersing throughout its lineups. While Honda Sensing is only available on the HR-V EX and above, Honda does plan to eventually make this equipment standard on every one of its vehicles. Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.
Upgrades to the infotainment system includes a new display audio touchscreen system that includes both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also the inclusion of a volume knob, which, no doubt, many people will find beneficial. Tweaks and refinements have been made to both the continuously variable automatic transmission and the available real-time all-wheel drive system.
Upgrades of the 2019 Honda HR-V
Honda hasn’t yet revealed all of the details of the 2019 Honda HR-V Available in Everett, but one can look at what the current HR-V offers in order to get an idea of what else will be available. The current 2018 model of the Honda HR-V puts out 141-horsepower, and offers a competent, agile ride. The cargo area can hold up to 58.8 cubic feet if you fold the rear seats down.
Unique in the HR-V is that the seats can fold up too, allowing you to accommodate taller objects such as plants, bicycles, or flat-screen TVs. Overall, the Honda HR-V is a great option for a subcompact SUV—and a vehicle in general—thanks to its agile handling, upgraded technology, and roomy accommodations for both cargo and passengers.
